Chinguitel Officially Launches 5G Services in Mauritania

Taking confident steps toward advancing telecommunications and delivering high-quality connectivity services that meet users’ expectations Chinguitel , a subsidiary of Sudatel Telecom Group, launched 5G services. The launch reinforces the Group’s leadership in developing telecommunications infrastructure and makes it the first company to provide 5G services in Mauritania, offering customers an advanced connectivity experience built on speed and reliability.

The service has been launched in its initial phase in the cities of Nouakchott and Nouadhibou, paving the way for the wider rollout of 5G services across Mauritania and opening the door to a new phase of digital growth. 5G technology will enhance network performance for individuals and improve the efficiency of services delivered by businesses and institutions through better connectivity and lower response times, contributing to the development of the services, education, healthcare, and other sectors across Mauritania.

Addressing the launch, Eng. Magdi Taha, Chief Executive Officer of Sudatel said: “For two decades, Chinguitel has worked consistently to develop and expand telecommunications infrastructure, bringing services closer to every Mauritanian and making them more accessible.
