Service Overview

DID (Direct Inward Dialing) is a very important service for enterprises, calling centers and institutions, where internal calling systems or PBX (Private Branch Exchange) are deployed.

PBX subscribers in the same enterprise can make phone call with each other internally and free of charge, but with DID service enabled, PBX subscribers can receive incoming calls from outside the enterprise directly.

Third party can reach PBX subscribers by dialing the access code of the enterprise and the extension number of the PBX subscriber.

Service Availability

The service is available all over Sudan in the areas covered by copper or fiber optic network. (You can check service availability by visiting your nearest customer service center or you can just call 100).


To have the DID service enabled for the enterprise, the PBX must support FXS (Foreign Exchange Subscriber) interface.
